One of three site service days in 2024 where we invite members across the Gwent Area and beyond to come and lend a hand to look after our campsite in the Wye Valley.
 
Arrive anytime between 9am and 3pm. We’ll provide tea and coffee, but bring your own packed lunch.
 
It would also be useful to bring a pair of work gloves, and safety glasses if you have them – as these would be useful for many of the jobs.
 
Although primarily aimed at adult involvement, there are some tasks that would be suitable for Scout and Explorer aged young people – on the basis that the section leaders or parents who bring the young people are responsible for them during
the day. Pulling Himalayan balsam is suitable for Scouts and Explorers and there are several lengths of footpath that need edging and levelling, that would be suitable for Explorers.

If troops/units would like to undertake a service project at their convenience, please get in touch with Dave too.
